So, the writing is on the wall. The current CFP deals ends in 2025. After that there is no CFP. There is your moment. That is likely when there is a fairly seismic change. SEC and B1G will likely secede from the current setup and do their own thing.
Currently there are 34 tabs in those two...
Season starts in just under two weeks. Yesterday, ASU baseball had an open house that included a 9 inning scrimmage game. It was such a nice day I went over to Muni and caught the game.
ASU opened their season this weekend sweeping #15 Merrimack. Great start to the season.
As a side note, they had a warmup game against UofA won 16-0. Not a typo. ASU scored 16. To be fair, it was a D1 team playing a club team
Being a Wildcats fan knowing full well your team sucks and having no expectations to win?
Bring a Sun Devils fan, having a talented roster with, theoretically, better coaching and wasted expectations of big victories?
Tough road game. Utah dismantled USC dismantled this weekend.
We need to see the offense get in sync. For the last 2 and a half quarters, the offense has not scored and looked out of sorts.
ASU to #18 in latest AP Poll.
Quick turn for the Devils after a huge win that should get them back into the top 25.
Stanford is no joke. Friday night home game. This team needs to focused.
BYU might have been the first test for ASU but this weeks game will be the first conference test. Which ASU team will show up?
The undisciplined wreck against BYU or the mostly disciplined efficient team we saw against Colorado?
ASU is currently a 3.5 point underdog
This is a turning point game. Lose this one and we start talking about IF the Devils get to any bowl game. Win and they stay alive in an inconsistent South.
I am still I hopeful (though not blind) fan that this team can turn this thing around
First real test for the Devils. First road game. Which ASU team shows up? The one who commits penalties left and right and gives up easy drives for points or the more efficient version?
The conference is a mess again this year. Forget the TV issue.
Oregon looks really good
USC got throttled
Colorado made a valiant effort
ASU is unproven thus far and BYU provides a bigger test
UCLA seems for real but I want to see more proof
Utah loses
Washington is a certified mess and FEMA...
ASU is favored by 34 points o/u at 53.5
This should be another easy win if ASU is as good as they think they are.
i want to see a huge improvement on penalties in this game
The conference gets crapped on quite a but...some deserved, some not. No matter what happens in the night cap, 3 of the elite 8 teams will be from <best Bill Walton voice> the conference of champions.
