    I see Verse as a 5/6T with flexibility to play out as far as 9 and play stand up OLB (although he isn't dropping into coverage) I see Robinson as a 5/6T with flexibility to move inside as far as 3T. But I feel like both are mainly 5/6.

    It's extremely common to move offensive lineman in the NFL to suit their traits. It's very rare to move a defensive lineman from Edge to inside and even more rare to have it be a success.

    The run stuff is BS. Newton has the 2nd highest PFF run defense grade in 2022 with 91.9. He's 20lbs heavier than Robinson and can rush the passer inside. I much prefer Newton to Cancey last year and I like Cancey. And Cancey went #19.

    Yeah, 4th or 5th on my list when we were on the clock at 27 from the players available. From like 6 I thought were viable options at positions of need.

    They are very different players with very different roles. They ain't drafting Robinson because they aren't happy with Ojulari. If Ojulari had 10 sacks last year they are still drafting Robinson.

    Never. They just signed 2 guys to start. They liked LJ Collier so much he started for us last year. They like Stills. If Robinson plays inside he's getting 40% snaps tops which is a waste of a 1st round pick on a team that needs impact players right now.

    I think someone is going to trade up in front of us. With DeJean, Newton, Mitchell and McKinstry on the board and the Bills stacking picks and Pats rebuilding I would be surprised if someone didn't leap us for a guy they really want. The question is whether it's the guy we want.

    I prefer Edgerrin Cooper. I think he's the best LB in the class. I hope they don't go LB this early though. They signed Mack Wilson and brought Barnes back, with Pappoe developing.
