    Another really good outing by Pfaadt. Tory tried to ruin it though by keeping out there too long. Great to see the way he's been able to turn things around after being sent down. If only we could get the same out of Gallen after this "injury" stint and rehab.

    I'm going by his contract breakdown at spotrac. They have his cap hit for last year at the $6.5m but his cash at $9,060,000.     I'd argue that last year he was fulfilling his roll as a well paid backup. He played ok but still led the team to a 1-11 record. Just because he looked better than Kyler doesn't mean he was good.

    He's only making a hair less and why is that? It's because he front loaded the 2 year contract into year 1. He made over $9m last year as a backup which was over 60% of the contract. It was structured in his favor if he only ended up being here for a year.

    With him the team will be lucky to win 3 games this year. To me 1 or 2 wins vs 3 wins is meaningless and not a difference maker. The team still has the same talent level elsewhere and the same brutal schedule. All of the cards are stacked against them this year.
