    It's not only that, kicking the FG gives the D at least a minute, minute and a half to rest, after the TV time out and kickoff. They had just been on the field and needed it.

    So...had we taken the earlier FG this is a 7 point game, with us getting the ball to start the 3rd. This is how you beat yourself. It's what poor teams do, what poor coaches do.
