The family (all 10 of us) is going to see it the day after Christmas. My attitude is that if I wanted to see Shakespeare, I'd go see Hamlet. The visuals will make it more than okay for me, and the story is just gravy.

    Fallout (Amazon Prime)

Episode 1: There's a lot going on here and I wish I had rewatched season one again, as some of it was a bit confusing. That being said, Episode one is right on par quality wise with what I remember from season on (including exploding heads and other gruesome scenes). It's looking good!!!

    Landman (Paramount+)

Agreed. quite frankly, the only reason I am still watching it is because I invested time to watch 6 episodes and there's only 4 to go. I'll see this through but then I am done for any future Landman stuff, unless I read that they have eliminated or significantly reduced air time for the two...

    Landman (Paramount+)

Geez....... Halfway through season 2 and I'm just about ready to give it up. The entire wife/daughter thing is so stupid, distracting and irritating that it is hard to get into the rest of the show, which is actually pretty good. I keep waiting for them to kickstart Sam Elliott's part, but at...

The "wife" is nothing more that an irritating, screaming, horny old female dog and the daughter should have an "I" tattooed on her forehead for "Ignoramus." Please..... make them go away.

    Landman (Paramount+)

Exactly. Demi Moore's character has been quite good, mostly because of her superb acting. But the other two main female characters are modern day versions of an old 8 page bible (short, pornographic cartoon book).

    Landman (Paramount+)

Episode 3 good news: An excellent new bad guy (Andy Garcia), more oil business (including a hydrogen sulfide disaster) and a performance by Demi that was Emmy worthy (particularly her breakdown at the end of the episode, that literally had ME in tears). Bad news: His oral sex obsessed, loud...

    Landman (Paramount+)

Episode 2 (Landman) was enjoyable, EXCEPT FOR EVERY SINGLE MOMENT INVOLVING THE WIFE AND DAUGHTER. It was nice that they got back to the oil business, plus the plot with Billy Bob and his dad looks to be a good one. Again, Billy Bob's simplistic (and not terribly accurate) rant at the car radio...

Avatar: Fire and Ash (aka Avatar 3)

I'm probably in the minority, but this looks like it's going to be kick ass, possibly the best of the 3. Guess we'll see in about a month.

    Tulsa King (Paramount+)

Whelp.... Watched the last episode of season 3 last night. While it was definitely an over the top ending, in this case it was quite satisfying, largely due to the really nasty villain Dunmire (Robert Patrick) "departure." Good stuff. There will be a season four, albeit sans Taylor Sheridan...

    All Her Fault

Well, once again a really good, intense series goes KaBOOM at the end, starting in episode 6. Don't get me wrong.... there's a lot of good stuff and performances throughout and it's well worth the watch, but as happens so often in these kinds of series, they get stupid/over the top at the end...

    All Her Fault

"When Marissa Irvine goes to pick up her young son Milo from his first playdate with a boy at his new school, the woman who answers the door has never seen or heard of either Marissa or her son -- beginning every parent's worst nightmare. As Marissa and her husband Peter begin a desperate search...

He ended up tying to make her a G.D. super-hero. Last half of the series she became nothing more than an alcoholic super-hero eye candy. She was the reason I lost interest in the show.

    Landman (Paramount+)

Yeah..... After Beth in Yellowstone, one could expect just about anything from Sheridan.....

23 is considered a good score

    Landman (Paramount+)

The mother/daughter thing is a ridiculous mess. Agree..... get rid of them or at least tame them down A LOT! Liked Demi's speech at the dinner and like her character, too. I've only seen the first episode so it will be interesting to see how Sam Elliot plays out, but I agree with @Shane...

Eight episodes into season 3 with two more episodes to go. Really good action fare. Gotta hand it to old Sly..... 79 years old and he's still looking good kicking arse. Even my bride (who is usually "meh" about this kind of show is absolutely loving it).

It is hard to beat a good, fresh brewed cup of coffee. But there are a few alternatives, as I noted above, that are pretty darned good.

FYI, the non-DeCaf of Mount Hagen is excellent, as well.

    Coffee Talk

Due to my blood pressure, I had to switch to DeCaf (I know..... drinking DeCaf is like taking a bath with your socks on). I found an instant, Mount Hagen Fair Trade DeCaf coffee that is quite good. It's a little pricey and hard to find (Amazon and Natural Grocers are about it) but it's quite...
