MW needs to be protected to last more than one season. His stamina is not enought to burden post feeding type of games regularly. He's relateive agile for a big to switch to the perimeter on D. Oso definitely has the Draymond Green type of game in him, just needs more experience and abadoning...

Celtics @ Suns Tuesday Game Thread, 2-24-2026

Everyone on the Celtics are setting illegal screens on and off ball, without refs' calls, that's when they turned the table from late 2nd qrt on. And our inability to create any O fueled that further. MW seems softer than he was earlier in the season, maybe it's due to wear and tear playing so...

Fleming is already better than Dunn on 1-on-1 defense.

Talent wise, Suns players are just way below average. It's Ott's sysem that made something work, when Book and Brooks are in there.

Qeta moves on every screen setting, Suns players never know to sell it to refs. That KOed Suns D. And Williams is too soft to hold his position on rebounding. D collapsed and Allen and Green just don't have the shooting touches yet.

Trail Blazers @ Suns Sunday Game Thread, 2-22-2026

Gillespie's shooting touch for 3s came back late in the 4th, but the basic talent just ain't there while Green is only slowing coming back. With Clingan and Williams at C, our layups are not so effective. It's time to give ManMan and Fleming some more court time, Green more comfortable sets and...

Livers D on Holiday was very nice, never leave your feet and keep your man in front. That's for Fleming, ManMan and Dunn to take lesson from.

Nobody can create anything except for Coffey with some. Gillespie and Bouyea all hit a wall with their game. That's tough to watch. Better use the time to develop ManMan and Fleming.

Livers has been useless on offense after the injury. If Dunn were a little better with development!

With Oso in there, they create better space for Green to operate, compared to MW.

Dunn, Fleming and Manman are all raw, not much vision on defense. Coffie and Livers are more reliable there. With Green, he and we need figure out how better get him space via screens etc. for more comfortable shots, instead of just tough shots like the buzzer beater last time.

Oso is making stupid def. plays, no connection with Fleming on the switch, that led to the 3

Suns @ Spurs Thursday Game thread, 2-19-2026

Oso has been subject quite a few stupid offensive foul and basket violations recently. He already had Kornett fended off with his left arm but really no need to swipe through that hit the face for OF call. We need 3s from CG and Goodwin to fall to have a chance. Green is getting back to form...

    Suns sign Heywood Highsmith

I believe it's insurance for next season, when Goodwin might become too expensive to retain and RO shopped off for luxary cap reason, with this season as potential bonus. And, he'd be the type of defender our young guys Dunn and Fleming ought to emulate.

    Roster competition

Livers is often injured and Bouyea's 3 is way too streaky. I doubt we convert either. Instead, I'd think we need a banger-type C like Bagley or so, and another PF from the buyout mkt, for the PO runs.

Thunder @ Suns Wednesday game thread, 2-11-2026

We had too many defensive lapses, like with 2sec on the clock RO didnot pay attention to the inbounder just 2 steps away, who got the pass back and hit the open 3. Fleming is agile and active. Goodwin can't start.

    76ers @ Suns Saturday game thread, 2-7-2026

For whatever reason the 3pt shooting touch abandoned the complete roster except for RO. Book finally nailed one in the corner. It's probably due to first game back from long absence for him and Green. We worked out all those open 3 chances! But give Philly credit for great D they played.

    76ers @ Suns Saturday game thread, 2-7-2026

76ers got away with a lot of off. screening fouls, where our guys didn't know to sell them to the refs. Including that bullsh call on Brooks with Embiid sticking his butts out to screen. Also, we see the limit with Gillespie and Bouyea when the D is tight and their 3s don't fall.

    Suns 2025-2026 Season Discussion

Before this summer with new GM and HC, Suns were really bad at talent and fit evalution, as witnessed in so many bad trades and signings. Tyus Jones, Gordon, Watanabe, Metu etc. all just considered good by imagination and failed. Or maybe they just didn't meet the right coach in Ott. Ott's...

Nets @ Suns Tuesday game thread, 1-27-2026

We dug ourselves a hole with 3 consecutive TOs early in the 4th. Bouyea saved us with his drives. When his 3pt shot is back, we'd have it easier with bench scoring. Nets is a team of actors who are falling over the place with minor bumps that baited some off. fouls from refs. Refs sucked...

Heat @ Suns Sunday game thread, 1-25-2026

oh, saw Book walking casually out there, so it doesn't seem too severe of an injury PS: in the 4th refs called many fouls on Heat they hadn't called earlier in the game. guess it's just balancing calls
