    Brooklyn Nine-Nine (NBC)

No snarkier than the three questions the list was an answer to. I was actually surprised that you were unaware of the entire Fox live-action comedy lineup.

Last Man on Earth The Mick LA to Vegas Ghosted New Girl Were you unaware of the existence of those shows as well?

    Brooklyn Nine-Nine (NBC)

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which was Fox’s highest-rated live-action comedy series this season among adults 18-49..." One of the strongest comedies on network recently. Tightly edited, fantastic ensemble playing, sharp and silly writing.

    Mad About You (Revival)

You just mean acting, right? Hasn't Hunt been directing series for awhile now? EDIT: According to IMDb she's directed a couple of "American Housewife" eps, the new "Splitting Up Together" (which I haven't watched yet), and a "This Is Us" in the last few years to name a few credits.

    Ready Player One

I don't know Chaplin's penchant for nuance well enough to do anything but read the words as written. And I never indicated that I was unaware of the book. The movie appears to lean even more heavily on schlock because of the music and the sound effects and the visuals...you know...stuff you...

Yeah because I didn't read the novel I'm "not a book reader". :biglaugh:

    Ready Player One

To me, that looks terrible. Cashing in on what looks like (and sounds like) hundreds of pop-culture references all to glorify a fantasy world that doesn't exist. A soulless adventure. EDIT: I think I'm a curmudgeon.

Report: Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, Grant Hill Elected to Basketball Hall of Fame

All Suns, all the time!...and Mo Cheeks. "Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, Grant Hill and Maurice Cheeks reportedly will be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as part of its 2018 class. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN first reported the superstar quartet's impending enshrinement and...

    Ndamukung Suh

You're saying Suh either knowingly put himself in a position he doesn't really want to play or is too dumb to grasp the concepts laid out to him during the meeting? You know he took less money to play for Wade Phillips and the Rams, right? "The deal is worth $14 million, ESPN’s Adam Schefter...

This is wild — Rams paying actors to attend games

It looks like Fox is hiring "fans" for the nationwide broadcast of the football show. The Rams aren't hiring them.

Can't wait for next week's matchup with Rams

My response was to the post that made it seem like the Cardinals were at an advantage since there would be more Cards fans and I pointed out that Rams are unbeaten on the road. And the other road win for the Rams was at Dallas not Oakland.

    The Orville (Hulu, was Fox)

It's still treading a fine line. Science fiction lovers won't find it science fiction-y enough, people looking for comedy won't find it funny enough. I'm entertained by it, but 44 minutes might be stretching it.

American Made .... Tom Cruise as Barry Seal.

Hanks could absolutely have played Jerry Maguire! Fair enough for you, but that "charisma" just never worked on me.

American Made .... Tom Cruise as Barry Seal.

Just so I know, on a scale of one to ten, where do Hanks and Cruise rank in your opinion? I'm not arguing whether or not the Academy thinks Tom Cruise is terrible. In fact I thought it was clear that I was indicating that Oscar nominations don't hold any sway with my opinion one way or the...

American Made .... Tom Cruise as Barry Seal.

Yes they do. Just as great actors never get nominated for Oscars. But that's just, like, my opinion, man. :)
