Trevor Bauer Traded For Didi Gregorius

UGH. Bauer may be a little nutty and had a rough stint @ the major league level but this looks like an awful trade!

If we had simply just done this last year, we'd have Luck or RGIII today

Eli Manning is good, but vastly overrated. Put him on the Cardinals and he probably doesn't have a Superbowl yet.

Homeland (SHO) - thread contains spoilers

I do still enjoy the show, but season 1 was reaching "Breaking Bad" territory. Season 2 is definitely not up to that level. But it's still really, really good compared to a lot of the crap that's on. I just hope it doesn't start to turn into 24.

    Worst free agent signing, Sarver-era

You are REALLY reaching. Not to mention your vote is completely ridiculous. Nash / D'antoni were responsible for some of the best seasons in Suns history. His last season or two was pretty brutal but you can't forget what he was able to do before that.

    Worst free agent signing, Sarver-era

Childress and it's not even close. Beasley has been a pretty bad signing but at least he's had a few decent moments and his contract isn't completely horrible.

    Dexter (Showtime)

I was under the assumption that he has always known. (Being so close to Dexter's dad.) And he seems like the kind of guy who would turn a blind eye to vigilante justice.

Homeland (SHO) - thread contains spoilers

Last episode seemed to have that "24" feel. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing.

Cards at Jets, game thread, 12/2/12

There is absolutely no way you can go with Lindley in the second half.

    Alex Smith?

"Marginal at best" indicates that he's, at BEST, slightly below average. I completely disagree. Is he a superstar? Nope. Great? Nope. But I'd say he's above average to good. He's been "good" on the niners. Anywhere else and he's probably still above average with the potential to be good...

Suns offering money back guarantee for Dec 6th game vs Dallas

I think we're overestimating how many people will go through the process of requesting a refund. I'm going to assume that it's gonna be a big PITA and take a minimum of 6 weeks to issue.

Steve Albert deserves his own thread--and that's not a good thing

Wow, I actually agree with BC. ;) She is fantastic and really seems to know what she's talking about. And yeah, Albert is kinda bad. Never thought I'd prefer Leander. Although he's not bad enough to make me not want to watch. (The on-court product is starting to be enough.)

Zero people in the upper deck, too.

    Alex Smith?

70% completion percentage, 104 QB rating, 13 TD's & 5 INT's is marginal at best? Totally disagree. Not saying he wouldn't regress here in AZ. But calling him marginal at best is an insult.

    Gortat turns down extension

I think O'neal is actually outplaying him. I've been a big Gortat fan but he seems to be playing a little soft this year. I don't know what the heck got into O'neal but he looks like a totally different player this year.

Hornets @ Suns Game Thread 11-23-12

 Because teams with high draft picks ALWAYS rebuild quickly? There are plenty of teams that have been lottery teams for 5-10 years with absolutely nothing to show for it. I'm fine with them trying to win as many games as possible. And I don't enjoy rooting for them to "play hard...

    Beasley in the Amare role?

This is the other alternative that I like. Still, I really like what Scola is doing but it'd be interesting to see what Beasley can do with some time @ the 4.

    Beasley in the Amare role?

Dragic / Brown / Dudley / Beasley / Gortat Telfair / Johnson / Tucker / Scola / O'neal I know that kind of squeezes Morris out of the rotation. And Johnson at the 2 is a question mark. Why didn't they bring back Redd? He'd be the perfect replacement for Johnson in this type of lineup.

    Beasley in the Amare role?

It is very, very clear that Beasley is horrible @ the 3. He had the most success as an undersized PF in Miami. Is there any reason that the Suns haven't put him in the Amare role? (Running the P&R with Dragic and either cutting to the hoop or spotting up for an open jumper.) Seems like he...

    What happened to Jared Dudley?

I really like Dragic and Telfair together. Also, I don't know what the hell got into Telfair this year but he has almost become a lockdown defender at the PG spot.

    James Harden Traded to Houston

Because he is a lot better than Perkins, who I think they'd have to include to make the salaries match anyway. (Too lazy to hit the ESPN trade machine.) Ignoring what Dudley has been doing this year, I think he'd fit the 6th man role perfectly in OKC. He helps spread the floor and could give...
