    Yeah pay him for this year, that's reasonable. He's the obvious starter. They can play games and say there is a competition but everyone knows he's the presumed starter.

    He was during chunks of seasons. What I wonder: could a very good coaching staff be able to coax consistency out of Kyler? Could a good coach see the signs things aren't working and get things back on track? Kliff couldn't and neither could this last staff.

    I said this earlier, no way that Beck was fully healthy last year. UCL injuries take awhile to heal, and playing a full season while healing, you'll notice his arm strength decreased throughout the year. Having some rest should bring him back to full strength.

    Where I was mostly convinced is that, I ultimately just want damn good players. And I think that ultimately, Love's ceiling is All Pro. When you're picking in a draft where top ten picks might go in the 20s in a normal draft, the value of Love is actually heightened.

    It's actually not. Smart teams think this way. Even though I'm happy with Love, good teams aren't guaranteeing $60 million to their RB room.
