    Your DC preference for Cardinals

Lots of "ifs" and maybes, and waiting a year, verses a chance to get the DC job right now. Still doesn't make sense to me, but what do I know.

    Your DC preference for Cardinals

Why would a position coach pull out of defensive coordinator opportunities? It sounds like he knew he wasn't getting a DC job. I would think that every position coach aspires to a head coaching position, OC or DC position. Regardless I'm fine with Pleasant or Bullen for our DC.

Mike LaFleur’s staff rumors and hiring updates….

I would think that LaFleur has a pretty good understanding of the offenses in the NFC West and wouldn't favor a DC that would "get picked apart" in the division.

    Who’s our next qb?

If the Cards go after Willis, you can bet that Matt has told his brother that Willis is a legit starting QB.

    Who’s our next qb?

Simpson will not last until the second round. Some team will take him in the middle or end of round one. He seems like he'd be a good choice for the Rams at 13, the Jets at 16, the Steelers at 21, or the Browns at 24.

    Next head coach?

Per media sources he's already interviewed with Miami and Baltimore for their head coaching position. He's considered an up and coming head coach, but he's only been a DC for one year, so the general opinion is that he needs another year or two of experience.

    NCAA Championship Game

Bain and Mauigoa both showed out. I'd take either one in the first round at 3. Help for our O-line or D-line. Both in need.

    Next head coach?

Maybe he'll turn Jacoby Brissett into Josh Allen. Maybe I'll turn into Josh Allen.

    Next head coach?

Not surprised at all that Saleh valued the Tennessee job over the AZ job. I've always thought we're in the same bucket as Cleveland and Vegas. Three franchises with no clear QB of the future and no recent history of organizational competence. There's three plumb jobs left...Pittsburg, Buffalo...

Lions Hire Drew Petzing as their Offensive Coordinator

I'd say lifetime ban for the Benedict Arnold Bears fan:)

Lions Hire Drew Petzing as their Offensive Coordinator

I think I'd give Dan Campbell and Brad Holmes the benefit of the doubt. They seem to know what they're doing, don't you think?

    3rd pick in draft

Agree that Julian Sayin is going to be a great QB.

    3rd pick in draft

Are you saying that you'd take Mendoza, Moore or Simpson over Bailey, Reese or Mauigoa? I'd definitely take Mendoza or Moore over the others, but taking Simpson is a tough choice at this point.

OT: Birds are not real. I love you, Caleb Williams.

This is not true. The Bears were nowhere near the teams with the most injuries. The Cards, 49'ers, Detroit and Bills all had more injuries.

John Harbaugh - Baltimore fires him

I'll bet that he takes a year off before taking on another coaching gig.

Reportedly interviewing 3 defensive coaches so far. Expect them to add some offensive coaches to the list.

    Next head coach?

I've haven't seen the article that ranks the AZ coaching opening as the worst of the six openings. The articles that I've seen have AZ ranked anywhere from #2 to #4. The biggest negative is the unsettled QB position. I don't think residing in the NFC West, or any other division is really a...

GM Poll - Monti or Keim?

Like I said, it's too early to judge. It's starting to look like Jon Gaines may be a player after two years of nothing, and nobody thought Michael Wilson would be this good in his third year. While I don't think Beej or DRob will develop, I can't rule it out. Same with Benson, Burch and...

GM Poll - Monti or Keim?

I think it's too soon to evaluate Monti's draft performance. He's only been GM for 3 years verses 10 years for Keim. I'd argue that although to date Monti's drafts have only produced 6 clear starters, there's another 11 picks that may or may not develop into starters. My guess is that at...

    The 2025-26 League Year

"Arguably" is the right word here. I wonder who would be the choice of a majority of NFL GM's...Kyler or Tua?

This is an $8MM cap savings for next season. What a free agency whiff, he was.

    We assume Kyler’s gone….

I agree that the only way we can trade Kyler is to eat a large part of his contract...maybe half to three quarters, but does that reduce our cap hit? If a team wants Kyler, it would be smart to give up a mid to late draft choice and guaranty that they get him, verses waiting for him to be...

    We assume Kyler’s gone….

I've got a question. If the Cardinals trade Kyler and retain half of his salary, does that reduce his cap hit 50%? If so, I think they could get someone to bite and maybe get a third or fourth round draft choice in the deal. Of course this assumes he will be starting for someone next season.
