    OT: Free agency. 2026

I like it. The glass is half full and I'm half crazy.

    Who’s our next qb?

    Very Cardinalesque you might say.

James Conner & SMB Restructures - Will Be Back

Bam Knight is horrible. I was more impressed with Corey Kiner, the kid they picked up at the end of last year.

    Who’s our next qb?

I hope I'm wrong, but I've got this feeling that the Cards are gonna pull a shocker and pick Ty Simpson at #3. If we start hearing how much LaFleur likes the kid and people start talking about him going in the first half of round one...look out.

    Bam back…

He's not an NFL caliber running back. Doesn't belong on a roster.

    Cards sign Gardner Minshew

I agree. My point was that whatever strategy we had for acquiring Willis, LaFleur had to be aware of it and supported it, including any ceiling on the cap dollars that were going to be allocated.

    Cards sign Gardner Minshew

So you think coaches don't care about roster construction and cap dollar limitations? Give me a break...we as fans understand it and think about it, but a head coach can't be bothered with it.

    Cards sign Gardner Minshew

Pure speculation, but my guess is that LaFleur agreed with a plan to pursue Willis up to certain contract maximum dollar figure. I can't even venture a guess as to what happened with Jimmy G. Maybe again it was an agreed upon limitation on the contract dollars?

    Cards sign Gardner Minshew

I find it hard to believe that our new coach, who is an offensive coordinator, was not part and parcel of every off-season decision that has been made regarding our QB position. The more reasonable assumption to me is that LaFleur has specifically supported the plan to start Brissett this season.

    OT: Free agency. 2026

The talking heads on NFL network indicated that Cousins wants $10MM plus to sign, and he's willing to wait it out. He won't be available until tomorrow, but I'd take him on a one or even two year contract over Brissett. I need some hope for this season. He's proven that he can be a winning...

    OT: Free agency. 2026

Cards have done a good job of improving the roster in the first day of free agency with the exception of missing out on improving the QB position, but boy what a miss. Going into the season with Jacoby Brissett as our starter in the NFC West is hopeless. There weren't good options available...

    Cardinals signing RB Tyler Allgeier

Really happy with the Allgeier signing. When the Cards lost Connor and Benson to injuries last year they did not have an NFL running back capable of starting. For all intents and purposes we ran an offense without a running threat for the remainder of the season. Allgeier may not be a top end...

Walter Nolan-Meniscus and not ACL? Darren Urban mailbag information.

Way too early to label last year's draft "sub optimal". Five rookies got significant playing time and showed potential(Will Johnson, Denzel Burke, Cody Simon, Jordan Burch, Kitan Crawford). Their first round choice, Walter Nolen, looks like a home run. This draft looks more like a very good...

Top Five Busts In Cardinal History

How can you guys forget to put Wendell Bryant on this list. He was the 12th pick of the first round in 2002 and out of the league for good after 3 years. A super bust.
  15. Card'em

    Who’s our next qb?

My guess is that they sign Willis and draft a tackle at the top of round 2.

Walter Nolan-Meniscus and not ACL? Darren Urban mailbag information.

Urban did say that he did not think it was an ACL Nolan's girlfriend posted that it was a meniscus injury.

2026 Mock Drafts Thread. It’s that time of year again.

It's gonna be David Bailey at #3, if the Jets don't take him at 2. If Bailey's off the board, I think it will be Reese.

    2026 Draft

Many are projecting Mauigoa as an outstanding guard prospect. This gives him a very high floor as a guard, and a high ceiling as either a guard or tackle. I like the odds.

    2026 Arizona Off Season Thread

So anyone that doesn't agree with your view on Monti is irrational? I consider myself a rational, level-headed fan and I was not in favor of dumping Ossenfort after last year. Not that I think Monti was any better than average, but an organization needs some stability, and GM's typically get a...

Mikey Bidwill Gets Taken To Task

I've listened to Ben Garcia's podcast and wish I could get the 30 minutes of my life back. He's awful and not too bright.
  21. Card'em

    Who’s our next qb?

I agree. Unfortunately, I think you're going to have to move into the bottom half of the first to get Simpson, and probably stay in the top half of the second to get Nussmeier. I think I'd rather sign Willis to a 2 year contract and roll the dice on Beck, Allar, or Klubnik in the 3rd or fourth...

    Your DC preference for Cardinals

You newbies have short memories. I still blame Kelly Stouffer, the Cardinals first round draft choice at QB from the 1987 draft. When the team announced that they had drafted Kelly Stouffer, one St. Louis media member yelled, "oh my god, they've drafted a girl!"

    MadCard's 2026 Cardinals Offseason Plan

In your offseason plan how about signing Michael Wilson and Paris Johnson Junior to new contracts?
  24. Card'em

    Who’s our next qb?

The only way that I pay that money to Willis is if LaFleur's brother, Matt, vouches for him. Without the brotherly trust in Matt LaFleur's belief that Willis can be a mid starting QB, I don't pay the money to Willis. I assume that if the Cardinals are in on the bidding for Willis, then Matt...

    2026 Arizona Off Season Thread

In Mike LaFleur's interview with Dani Sureck, he said that the first things he looks for in a QB are someone that is a processor of defenses and someone that is tough and can stand in the pocket. This sure isn't Kyler.
