I am wondering why Reynolds was used as a pinch hitter in the 13th inning. There were 2 outs and no one base. Wouldn't it have been better to save Reynolds until someone was in scoring position even if that meant he wouldn't get up?
The problem is who is going to save the games late. outside of 1 starter they have been going 6 or 7 innings and leaving with the lead. Having Webb wouldn't make much difference.
The problem with citing the last 2 years of contracts, when players are going to be 34 or 35, is that it isn't guaranteed and the players will most likely be cut. I look at guaranteed money and the 1st 2 0r 3 years.
I think Warner retire, Q is traded, Dockett is resigned and we all will be upset by the amount, Whiz is extended for 4 years. I also think that we sign a free agent center.
