    Kyler Murray is a Rookie

Murray is playing scared. But that is a byproduct of the Cardinals playing 10 personnel too often.

    CeeDee Lamb ...

Lamb missed a game with a concussion. That is a big red flag.

    Initial top 100 ~ 2020 draft

The unusual number of really bad teams will pushed the Cardinal down the draft order a bit. Two or three more wins will have them drafting around tenth. A true number one wide out or offensive tackle will be there.

Way too early coach and GM hot seat thread

Jay Gruden - Redskins (the problem is the owner) Adam Gase - Jets Freddie Kitchens - Browns (clueless impatient owner) Zac Taylor - Bengals (under the radar disaster in progress) Anthony Lynn - Chargers (firing coordinators mid-season usually ends poorly)

ARI @ NO: Heroes and Goats

Fitz didn't get the second foot down because his leg hit the defenders leg. Without that contact he would have had both feet in bounds.

My Biggest Concern About Kyler Murray

The Cardinals (read Kingsbury) didn't make Murray an integral part of the running game until after Baltimore's Jackson torched them. It is a desperation move that greatly ups the odds of Murray getting injured.

Arizona Cardinals @ Cincinnati Bengals Pregame thread. 09/30/19-10/05/19

At Cincinnati brings back bad memories. Specifically giving up 21 points in the fourth quarter to turn victory into defeat. Psychologically, this is a big game for both teams. This is the game you should win. Lose this one and you're at a hopeless nadir.

    Has anyone else noticed?

Mason Cole (who took some reps at tackle) is basically backing up the entire offensive line now. But with Pugh questionable, he could be starting at guard.

    2019 O-line discussion

Teams are desperate for anybody who can bring competency to the left tackle position. And Humphries has enough good film for someone to pay a premium for him despite the injury history. The Cardinals are also on their third coaching staff in as many years.

    Is Jaylen Hurts' success concerning?

We saw this Jalen Hurts when he saved the day in the SEC Championship win against Georgia.

Vance Joseph as DC so far

Scariest stat of the week. The Cardinals defense gave up 413 total yards. That's an improvement over the 458.5 they averaged in the first two weeks.

    FIRE Keim Time= 3-15-1 past 19 games.

Every NFL team has talent. It is up to the coaching staff to provide that talent an avenue to succeed.

Franchise took a big step back today

They are who we thought they were. If it wasn't for the Dolphins the Cardinals would have the worse defense in the league. You still have to stop the run first. And the Cardinals can't. The offensive line is no good. Which is exacerbated by Kingsbury's schemes.

    Thank You Darrell Bevell

First off for taking the ball out of your quarterbacks hand most of the second half. Then for the timeout call followed by an idiotic thirty yard pass attempt on third and two. And that two minute drill at the end of regulation. Beauty. How does this guy keep getting jobs?

Is Marcus Gilbert already questionable for game one

Joshua Miles might get the start. Mason Cole is another but less likely possibility. The Cardinals have shot themselves in the foot on this one.

Are Kliff Kingsbury's Cardinals the future or folly? Either way they'll be something to see

Five years age after Chip Kelly's initial success, teams experimented with up tempo no huddle offense. As quickly as it came it was gone. The NFL has been there and done that with everything.

K1 at the OU opener tonight.

Hurts doesn't have the "wow" factor of Mayfield, Murray and Tagovailoa. His deficiencies throwing the football blind people to what he can do which is to win games. It is easy to see an errant pass but not always easy to see leadership.

K1 at the OU opener tonight.

Watching the guy that replaced him have a better statistical game in his first outing than he did his entire career had to suck. And Hurts did it with four new starters on the offensive line.

Should we draft a new RB?

Who would have ever thought it, but the Cardinals have found a way to make Russ Grimm look like a good offensive line coach.

Darksider: PFF says the Cardinals have the NFL's worst roster heading into 2019

It took awhile for David Johnson to knock the rust off, but by the end of last season he was looking like the guy who was atop of all the fantasy draft boards prior to being hurt. His stats may have placed him in PFF's below average category but that is more a reflection of the offensive...

Path to winning the NFC West

The interior triangle of the Rams offensive line is going to be new and not improved for the 2019 season. The Rams' gamble of left tackle on Andrew Withworth paid off big time, but he is 37. I expect the Rams to come back to the pack and to be hearing how the league has caught up to Sean...

    Why will Murray fail?

NFL level defensive coordinators and players doing to Kingsbury's Air Raid offensive what they did to the Run and Shoot is how Murray is going to fail in the NFL. Kill the quarterback is first and foremost how the passing game is defended in the NFL. Concepts of the Air Raid offense: 1)...

    The Draft So Far

Three first round graded tackles (Jawaan Taylor, Greg Little, and Cody Ford) were sitting there for the Cardinals at the top of round two. I expect the Cardinals to need two starting tackles heading into the 2020 season. They should have added one this season. You can get cornerbacks in...

    Trade is complete

Could have gotten more by waiting for an injury to take out somebody's starter. But getting Rosen out of the building now is probably worth the difference.

Who do you want in the second round? I say OL Taylor, CB Muphy or CB Greedy Williams

Jawaan Taylor was projected by many to be the first offensive tackle off the board. But I never read him being projected to the left side. I believe that the Cardinals feel they have addressed the offensive line in free agency again. And they are wrong again. That leaves cornerback or wide...
