    Truthfully it doesn’t matter who plays this week, if they don’t come out of the gates with their hair on fire and prepared to make a statement it will probably be a long second half of the season. You can’t treat a division opponent , regardless of record , lightly.

    I think it’s 50/50 without KM. Defense has to handle their business in this game. To me that’s the biggest factor in this game.

    Davis Webb may be another option. I think he played for Kliff for a year or so in college and may have familiarity with the system if needed to play this week. Scary how quickly a team can go from where they were a couple weeks ago to potentially not having a quality qb able to play this week .

    In regards to the game today, I think the Panthers defense is over rated . Who have they really played that’s any good ? In the two games where they played above average teams(Minnesota and Dallas) they gave up 30+ points.

    At some point you have to sit the QB down if you can’t trust him to perform. That’s the problem with the program overall at the moment, there is no accountability. Players get recruited in a way that breaks the rules and they look at the rules like they don’t mean a thing hence all the penalties...
