    This is how I feel. If he is that guy then at least try to get him. I may be higher on Mendoza than most but he looks like the real deal and by most accounts he is a true leader. I don’t hate KM but it seems like Mendoza is the complete opposite from a leader/player standpoint.

    Injuries are real but giving up 37 points or more in 6 of the last 8 (only the falcons and bucks scored less)while exhibiting the energy he is showing below week in and week out is why you fire a coach.

    Burke with Schwartz as DC and someone like Spencer Whipple as OC might be ok. Not ideal but I could see us doing much worse

    Yes. I’m on record as preferring someone like Allar in the 3rd or 4th and seeing how it goes until next year. Unless we can get Mendoza of course.

    I would imagine Shula and Kubiak would have a ton of connections. Maybe Shula plus Brown as OC ?

    I appreciate your point. Key words from Brugler are “light qb class”. Combine that with desperate GMs and you get guys at the QB position drafted way higher than they should all the time.

    I agree as well. VJ seems to be a really likable guy though. Someone you would really like to have in your organization but I agree that there are better options available if we go DC route again.

    The main thing is he’s a QB, they tend to get drafted high if they have shown the slightest amount of success. The data is real, and it didnt stop those guys from getting drafted pretty high. Look man I don’t make the rules it’s just what it is.
