Dillingham used to do that his first year coaching because they were so undermanned, it didn't really make much difference to take big chances. Textbook case of letting your teams' heads get big from pre-season hype. That's on Dillingham. But also pretty traditional for ASU teams that come into the season with high hopes. They've been flopping like this since I was a kid.- Raindog

That's been a weakness of Dillingham since he got here. He's very random about when he goes conservative and when he opts for the reckless approach. It bit them at the end of the playoff game, and almost killed them against BYU, too.- Raindog

MSU/SEC media and fans also trying to invent a "controversy" about ASU imitating the cowbell thing by having people ringing cowbells during practice this week instead of piping in louder version over PA system.
