Tom's early career athleticism deteriorated quickly IMO. As for Lang, he was more athletic than West but he couldn't run either and when he got the ball around the basket he often transformed into a 6'5" Center who had trouble going over the top with his shot. The pre-Barkley Suns era weren't a very athletic squad at all but they had good success. I will say that Majerle was a better athlete early in his career before he bulked up and became primarily a scrappy 3 ball guy. I wouldn't call Murray a project. My definition of a QB project is basically a guy with raw tools that will require a lot of coaching and time. Murray is more of a boom or bust question mark in terms of....will his top shelf physical skills and unknown mental make up translate to the pro game...- mojorizen7

Right. They've been pretty good despite the turnover because they have a stable core system in place. AZ and SF do not. Sure talent loss matters, but it matters much less to a team who can seemingly plug and play when they lose talent. You feel LA and SEA got worse because they lost a few...- mojorizen7

Yeah i disagree on both counts (Rams and Seahawks). On paper neither team made a "splash" but they didn't get any worse. Two teams with a successful core system and players in place. 3rd place is open in the NFCW- mojorizen7
