    I still think the Paris/Anderson trade was fine on paper. This trade isn't. I'll be quite angry if this is all he gets for trading down with the Cowboys. Stick and pick Love/Bailey if you want less value. Sheesh.

    You find that out ahead of time and either move him off of the board, or call his bluff and watch him lose millions. I wouldn't want a player that does that anyway.

    I don't. I'd let him walk for comp picks that'd we won't see because we don't usually have good players or a GM start enough to acquire them. I wouldn't pay that amount for at best their 3rd option on offense.

    That's not how these new contracts work. You only need to be hovering around the top 10 at times to get a 'record breaking deal.' Records are broken every year with the way salary cap increases each year.

    The answer is simple. Name neither one the starter and Brisset goes Game 1, Minshew Game 2 etc. Do a QB by committee. Hell, even rotate QB's by quarter or even drive. That would be excitng!

    Count me into that group. Although him sucking this year works for me. I just hope they don't give him another year on his contract so we can be done with him after this year.

    It happens WAY more often that you think. Employers have most of the power these days. Most people can't afford to 'shop around' looking for a new job. If they lose their job, their entire family is screwed...

    It's why naming neither as a starter brilliant. Why would we do so before the draft when neither QB is the QBoF? Wait until the last preseason game to name one. (assuming we don't draft a QB) I dare Jacoby to sit out. He doesn't have any negotiating power at all here.
