    Don't get me wrong. I'm thrilled that Conner will be back next year. My point was, that if we are still in a rebuild next year, we may be looking for a RB 1 in 2026 due to Conner's age at that time.

    At the end of the day, we didn't give up much and if healthy he will be arguably better than anyone we currently have. Was this the deal I was hoping for? No, but if he does produce it will turn out to be a good trade, and if he doesn't we didn't risk much of anything.

    That’s fine if you think it’s dumb. I think your take is dumb as well, so I guess we’re even. Kyler has shown flashes of brilliance and has also shown that even when he has time he has made some dumb decisions and not played well. He’s hit or miss.
