He would've drawn so many charges on Giannis. A couple charges in those close games could've made the difference. He fit in well with Monty's system and was a nice change of pace to Ayton at the 5. Assuming he's not hurt, I'd take him in a heartbeat.

One thing to consider is what you expect the market to return over the next 10 years. The market is considered by most analysts to have a pretty high valuation at this current point. We have a recent example of a lost decade starting with the dot com crash and ending with the financial crisis...

I think Craig was a significant loss. He could've been retained with his Bird rights and he only got 2/10m from Indy. He was instrumental to our playoff run. He was the only guy who could guard PG13 and seemed to always hit a clutch 3. It's still early but we are worse at the 3/4 without him.

@1Sun has a point with his criticism despite it being one note. Lots of teams are making big splashes and contenders are not afraid to pay the tax. Look at what Milwaukee did last year before they ever made the finals. If the Suns think they have a one year or two year window, it's hard to argue...

It really is unbelievable how fortunate the Lakers franchise is continually. They offered Shroeder $84M and he turned it down. I wish that contract was hanging around their neck.

Boy that Lakers team has the potential to implode spectacularly. Could be quite the force if the start align.

We would have won the championship with Ilyasova. He draws a charge every other play. I hate that type of defense, but it is rewarded by refs. Like what does the league want to be, an epic Cam Johnson dunk or PJ Tucker falling down with minimal contact. I said the same thing when Kobe...

    The Market 2021

I think they are a marketing gimmick and use ESG to justify higher fees. Fossil fuels are bad but what about slave and child labor. My understanding is that they score companies on a myriad of different areas and look at the company's total score so they may be in an industry you don't like...

Overpaying to keep it only a one year deal is a common practice around the league. The player is taking a risk by giving up security later in their career so you have to compensate them.

I'm surprised Reggie Jackson wasn't snatched up by another team yet. He must be staying with the Clips.

I know he's got a freaky wingspan, but didn't realize he was that short. He struck me as a younger Crowder type player who is only 6'6". PJ Tucker is only 6'5" and can play a bit at the 4.

We need some more size and muscle. I don't like Cam Johnson at the 4 against bigger players. I'd take a flyer on Stanley Johnson as a 3/4 and another 4/5 in case Jalen Smith still isn't ready to contribute. Also, I wouldn't mind bringing back either Moore, Galloway, or bringing in a new combo...
