    Still interested to see what they do at DH and closer. Tanner Scott would be real nice in the bullpen. Not sure what’s out there DH wise that would fit in the “budget”. I still think they go with a combo of Suarez/Marte taking turns at DH with Lawlar filling in on defense. We will see I suppose

    Agreed! Everybody knows the system needs to be fixed, but it’s probably gonna take 5 to 10 years for them to really dial it in. Just my opinion

    I can see a world where Lawler is on the roster and plays some second, short and third, allowing guys like Suarez and Marte to DH a bunch and resting their bodies. Not really sure what is out there that would help this team or what we can afford.

    Yeah I guess the 6 games he’s played in have been worlds apart from the 10 he didn’t. $3 million isn’t really all that much but if Beachum isn’t here than your probably right. Maybe his run blocking has been poor but I don’t recall Williams making a huge difference in that regard. May also...

    As much as I bagged on him last week, Kyler has looked in control today. Not great but I’m control. Even on the one FG he almost took a sack on third down , rather than take a dive like he does from time to time he threw the ball away.

    If you can get a good deal for Thomas I would do it. You have a light hitting stud defensive CF that’s maybe a year away in Jones. They also have a handful of guys that may not be far off.
