Defense better or Rams just beat up

When a player like Gardeck is owning your LT you know you have Oline problems. Gardeck is not exactly a elite pass rusher. Also don't think for one minute that Detroit is not going to look at this game film and come up with ways to counteract how Rallis used Baker. The Detroit Oline is much...

    Jonah Williams status?

I'm not sure it's in him to pull the reins in a bit. I think the caustic behavior is also part of who he is.

    Jonah Williams status?

Solcalcard is at bat with an 0-2 count, so should we take bets on when he takes a called third strike and ends up with a permanent ban? :)

Which Cardinal Was the Big Loser Sunday?

I thought Harrison was supposed to be a great route runner. I watched and honestly I didn't see it. In fact I thought he looked kind of slow or unsure of where to go.

Film Study: Kyler Murray was GOOD for the Arizona Cardinals Vs the Buffalo Bill

I am wondering if despite all the plaudits the coaching staff has heaped upon Murray in the pre-season, do they feel they need to manage his limitations and that is why the play calling is what it is? Is there a belief among the staff that Murray needs to managed during a game? Do they only...

    Depth Chart Concerns

I guess the NFL decided to actually enforce the rule that all linemen must be within the body of the center. How often have we seen tackles so far behind the line of scrimmage you could mistake them for a running back. You are going to see a lot of illegal formation calls the first week or so...

Arizona Cardinals @ Buffalo Bills Pre Game Thread (no twitter links). 09/02/24-09/07/24

I took the Bills in my eliminator challenge football pool. Just don't see the Cards getting past the Bills especially in Buffalo, a 1pm start time and too many players in new positions/rookies to overcome the Bills.

Breaking: Cam Thomas traded to KC

I look at it this way, maybe he struggled against our massively talented second and third string Oline in practice. Add to it he is probably more suited to a true 4-3 De position and he just wasn't a fit. It will be interesting to see how he performs in KC.

15 thoughts - Broncos game + final roster

If Jerod Mayo is being honest, Brissett will not be available for trade as he claims the competition between Maye and Brissett is close and he hasn't named a starter yet. I can't imagine he lets Brissett go if it's that close.

I think no matter which way you look at it, its a step up from Berhalter for sure.

I think teams realize that they can attack down the flanks with speed which the US has had trouble defending. However on the other side Rodman's speed has created a lot of problems for opponents.

Recorded match and just finished watching it. Emma Hayes has whipped this team into shape. This is the best match I have seen them play in years. Off ball movement is so much better and the passing is better. Finishing is at a new level. The men's side better be taking notice of how Hayes...

    News of the week. 07/15/24-07/21/24

Correct, but in such cases it's more of a formality when the player knows he is coming back to the PS. I don't see any team offering him a ton more money than he would be getting with the Cardinals unless he lights it up in pre-season.

Tune will most likely end up on the practice squad with Ridder as #2. Odds of another team claiming him are pretty slim. He won't get cut as he know the offense which has value as a #3. The only way he gets cut is if he really blows it in camp and pre-season games.

I want a manager who is going to expect the absolute best out of each and every player and who is willing to step on any player who doesn't perform up to expectations. One who is willing to drop or bench a fan favorite or big name player if a younger lesser known player is out performing the...

    News of the week. 07/01/24-07/07/24

I get the ranking and it's probably just about where they should be. You have a new left tackle moving over from the right side. An unknown at left guard. A returning center and right guard and a new right tackle. Three positions that are changing out of five. It will take some time for...
