His potential value drop is minuscule at this point. Seeing what he can do to start the season with a new staff/system, far outweighs the risk of minor value shrinkage.
You almost have to see what you can get out of DA with a new coaching staff /offensive system before trading him away. Waiting may cause his value to drop, but the potential of improvement is worth that comparatively small risk, IMO.
The team ignores Ayton on offense. Booker won’t look his way, even when Ayton puts himself in position to shoot a high percentage shot.
Teammates don’t trust Ayton. Without CP3 feeding him the ball on pick and rolls, he’s useless on offense.
