. . . but Klassen showed such promise early on -- a line-drive hitting, good fielding shortstop. The kind who should be solid in the Majors, develop power as time goes by, and finish his career as a respectable 3B.
I wonder what happened. Was he not developed properly? (It didn't look that way.) Did he lack what it takes?
Anyone have any ideas?

I don't know if I should post this, but what the heck I will anyway. Last year Klassen played a lot for the Sidewinders. We used to sit in the general vicinity of his wife, about one section over with plenty of empty seats in between. How did we know it was his wife? Well for the entire game this woman wouldn't pay attention at all to what was going on....except when Klassen came up. Then she'd be on the edge of her seat rooting her hubby on.
