Unfortunately it's really not that odd. Boston showed the league how to play him. In 4 playoff games last season he turned the ball over 21 times. He only has 19 in our 5 games but Denver, although they are playing him as physical as Boston did, isn't as strong defensively as Boston was.

It doesn't take a lot to put a body on Durant and knock him off the ball.

These are not what I consider traditional turnovers, because Durant is not actually losing the handle on the ball. He is being physically separated from it by contact.

If the referees do not call fouls, it results in a turnover.

Opponents did the same thing to Nash, especially late in games, and with much the same result.

Ironically, Kevin Durant is awarded the NBA Fan Favorites for best handle award.

So true. Those hip checks on Nash were something else.
I still have nightmares of Billups swinging down on Steve's wrists when he'd drive the lane late in the game. Chauncey never got within a foot of the ball but it created a turnover almost every time.

A lot of his turnovers against Denver have been lazy bad passes. Maybe their physical play is in his head and he's not rushing?????

I'm not excusing bad passes. There have been some of those as well.

Sometimes it takes time to develop chemistry with other players.

If Ayton doesn't play tonight I'm predicting a double double from Bazley

Naw. His turnovers aren’t occurring when they’re physical.
