Gives hope for the future, for sure.

Not just to us, but to guys like Marco Wilson, Collins, Thompson, Murray, the coaches, etc.

It's exciting.

curious if the focus on getting 2024 draft capital is a function of the perception of talent level in 2024 vs 2023, or, getting picks to take advantage of fixing the scouting process for 2024, or , part of "The Process"

maybe all

As it stands now. Who knows may end up with more before the day is done.

Love it!
I criticized Monti on Thursday a bit for the trade back up but I was wrong. He did exactly what he needed to do in this draft. Obtain talent at premium positions and accumulate draft capital and he did both very well. The tampering thing probably got me in a bad mood on Thursday but great work by Monti here. 2024 off-season is going to see a massive inflow of talent in free agency and the draft.

Imagine the leverage they'd have if the picks landed 1-2 assuming Maye and Williams have monster seasons. Those 2 picks would each create a massive haul(while hopefully still being in position to drat Harrison Jr).

2023 is a red shirt year. With all the draft capital for next draft and the ability to add more if right situation comes about. Right now I want Harrison in the next draft.
