Surely the Cards want Wypler. It’s one of the draft’s least kept secrets. Will they trade up to get him; likely? Beyond him, what’s left are typically role players. They need a backup QB and Haener is perfect. Either a RB or WR would provide needed depth. I posted I wasn’t crazy about Brown, but he is a threat as a receiver. Adebawore has rotational value. Allen is the best remaining blocking TE. There is still value in the draft, but you have to see fits and roles.

Wypler C
Adebawore. DT
Johnson RB
Skinner S
Palmer WR
Haener QB
Allen TE
Brown RB
Wright CB

The Athletic - Dane Brugler

133. Luke Wypler, C, Ohio State (6-2, 303)

Wypler is sawed-off and will be force-fed his vegetables as he adapts to NFL power, but his above-average athleticism and handwork help him stay in position. He is ideally suited for a zone team and projects as an NFL backup with the potential to be more.

Grade: Fourth-fifth round
