The main bright-side of this movie: At least Hayden Christensen wasn't in it.

The Nazi comparison is false equivialence because even though Nazis were white, that wasn't the focus. It's fine if you want to equate the Federation with China or the Gungans as Jamaicans, but you have to have a contrasting viewpoint--why are there no races that are Asian-looking/sounding that are "good" guys? Padme's chief of security was played by an African-American, but there was no way anybody was going to make that connection to JarJar. Besides, his terrible acting made you forget it anyway.
not a false equivalent.... Hitlers elites were called "Storm Troopers" in WW1 ( I thought it was ww2...oops)

Stormtroopers were specialist soldiers of the German Army in World War I. In the last years of the war, Stoßtruppen ("shock troops" or "thrust troops") were trained to fight with "infiltration tactics", part of the Germans' new method of attack on enemy trenches.[1] Men trained in these methods were known in Germany as Sturmmann ("storm man", usually translated as "stormtrooper"), formed into companies of Sturmtruppen ("assault troops", more often and less exactly "storm troops"). The infiltration tactics of the stormtroopers are still in use today, in one form or another.

I will take Hayden Christensen ten times over Lloyd. That kid was one of the luckiest child actors in Hollywood. He kept getting acting jobs for a period for some unknown reason. He literally is one of the worst child actors I have ever seen.

The stormtroopers weren’t evil because they were WHITE. They were evil because they were Nazis. That’s not racism. No different than the representation of the Persians in 300. So yes, false equivalency. Nazis are an ideology, Asians and Jamaicans are people.

well Lucas didnt call them stormtroopers because they were white ... he called them stormtroopers because they fought for the evil empire that was bent on galactic domination.

+1 for the hat
+1 for the shirt
+1 for noticing you don't look like a video game character

You're a triple threat

I wondered if anyone was going to catch the shirt. With my warped sense of humor, I just had to buy it as soon as I saw it.... :)
