I'd be ok with bringing Barr in.

He's only just turned 30. Former top 10 pick.

I don't think he makes us worse. I'd look at him in camp and see if he can add to either OLB or LB depth.
He's probably not an OLB for the Cardinals though...which means it would enable Vance to play another meh vet over Collins or Simmons. No thanks.

There are studies on this.

The average roster turnover for 1 year alone is 44%. So on average 56% of players on rosters were on the same roster the year before.

Over 2 years it's 65%.

I can't find stats for 3 or 4 years but if it's 65% after 2 and there's nearly 50% churn a year then got to be looking at 80% after 3 years and 90% after 4 years. Roughly. So on average an NFL team would have roughly 5-6 players on the roster that had been with them 4+ years.

Cards have 7.
If your logic holds that would be for average teams. I suspect the continuity is greater for the consistently good teams.

Really the only spot he can get looks at. He hasn't done well enough to play RG despite being given opportunities and he hasn't beat out Beachum to date. They added multiple interior players so his only real spot is backing up Beachum until injuries occur and then we will see.

Hard to put any stock in it. There's no real correlation between good teams and bad teams.

Also really depends on injuries. If you lost a bunch of snap because you had a few drafted guys out it's going to badly effect the %.

Cards lost Zeke Turner for 11 games, Gardeck for 4, Wiggins for 9, Wilson for 3. Kyler for 3. Lawrence for 6. Edmunds for 5.

Add those up and Cards might have pushed 60%.

Does Baltimore include when they were the Browns?? I don't think so...

I bet they also didn't include the Seahawks time in the AFC West

Still only 14 teams over .500

NFL PARODY....

Parity?

Well one thing's clear . . . we SuckED.

5 of those 6 wins came since 2008. We really sucked for most of our existence but have been significantly better under Mike. 16th most wins since Mike took over after being 31st pre Mike. And 14th most playoff wins.

Still massive room for improvement though.

None of those wins have come since 2015!

No, we haven't been significantly better. We've gone from unarguably one of the worst, to bottom 10 franchise at best.

Things will only get significantly better once the team is no longer owned by Bidwills.
Still massive room for improvement though.
On this we agree.

Sounds like a real motivated go getter! Oh, and the center we gave up big resources for (and also under-performed!) isn't showing up now.

I don't know how much that is really saying. Who is the current holder of the record? I'm guessing Larry Fitzgerald or Carson Palmer?

Larry got a 7-year, $113 million extension with $20 million guaranteed in 2011. APY $16.1M
Carson got a 3-year, $49.8 million extension with $14.2 million guaranteed in 2014. APY $16.5M

Chandler Jones signed a 5-year, $82.5 million extension with $31 million guaranteed in 2017. APY $16.5M.

Then be prepared for it NEVER happening!

Ok guys, a semi serious question. Will the Cardinals pay Kyler Murray $200 million gtd? I saw a Rams fan say that it was already a down deal for that amount, but there was nothing about it with a Google search.

Would you like it?

No. I think they'll pay him $151 million guaranteed with $100 million fully guaranteed and a total value of $260 million.
