So apparently Luka had the statistically the worst defensive game in the last 3 years.

Oh not HIS worst defensive game of the last 3 years the worst game in the entire NBA in the last 3 years.

-28 for the game. Gave up 1.8 points on switches they basically scored on him every single play.

But this morning I’m hearing Shannon and Max talk about how great Luka has been and he can’t do anymore. The fact these guys just overlook his ridiculously bad defense is a joke

I'm convinced these guys in the debate shows flip a coin on every topic as to which side they will take and then argue the most extreme click-bait view.

I am not. Although I like them.

If we had McGee and Biyombo last year then this team would already have a ring.

Yes, but every season is different.

Saric went down the first game in the Finals last season so the Suns really missed him.

Kaminsky didn't get enough playing time and Jalen Smith would look nice as a small ball center.

LOL, but are the Mavericks fans that passionate or widespread in Tx? I don't know.
I'm cheering for the suns but kind of surprised that they have only 31 straight sellouts in a row when they were in the finals last year and best record this year. That streak includes playoff games too.

Ticket prices are out of control. I know there is inflation. But that means that people have a lot less disposable income to spend on tickets.

There's been 47 total home games since then and COVID was still a thing. That 18-game streak helped, but we didn't have a great early start to the season either.

100%. That was the difference. Lack of depth. If we could have used more bodies IMO we could have tired them out and IMO would have won last year. When Ayton went to the bench it was like giving them a private escort in the paint.

Also, I was listening to Dallas radio today. They were saying that playing zone isn't just to help Luka out defensively. They said it's also about conserving his energy and preventing him from getting worn down by chasing our guys around the court. They feel if Luka can conserve more energy, he will be more effective at the end of games. Seems like they are convinced Kidd changes his entire approach for Game 3.
