Only a complete and utter moron would say Murphy is a CB1.

Murphy played all of two seasons. i dont know how any casual fan can conclude so emphatically that he will never be a starting corner after two seasons

if this is true -- i also think it points to playing a lot more zone next year

1--They named him the CB1, not just a starter, and he's clearly not that
2--It's no reflection on what he might become. I doubt he'll ever be the CB1, but he's not that heading into THIS season.

I understand that there really isn't much to talk about, but to me this is much to do about nothing. It looks like we'll have a TC and PS games and if we go into the season with Murphy designated as our #1 CB, then we can argue about it. But to do it now, who cares? JMO.

I've done this a ton of times in my career. Sometimes I can mesh with people once we're off the clock but still dismiss their opinions at work.
