they got my money lol.... it was ok... not great. Not totally awful. The Warren’s have a whole slew of possible movie spin offs lol.

 

[Hoop Head]

This felt very paint by numbers. It also kind of felt like a film made to retain the rights rather than having an interesting story someone wanted to tell. I could be wrong, maybe the rights aren't an issue but that's just how it felt in a way.

I didn't know how I'd view this. I seem to like every other Conjuring film, spinoffs included. I didn't care for Conjuring 1 but liked 2. I liked Annabelle Creation but didn't care for the others. I didn't dislike this but didn't like it either. Like I said, it was just sort of there.
