Brands are important to you, it seems.
Could call it brand. Pedigree is likely a better description when talking football players. Obviously every player needs be evaluated on an individual-by-individual basis but I’ll bet it’s tough to argue that those three schools have more currently active players in the nfl than say the Alabama’s, OSU’s, Oklahoma’s, Florida’s.

Our first choice isn’t playing on the outside sooooo

I listened to Keim make that clear, but I've read and listened to other pundits who think he will be moving outside more, I don't know. But who is Collins going to replace? Hicks, I doubt he's ready as a rookie to be calling defenses. Simmons? Hope not. That's where my comment came from. Probably shouldn't be in this thread.

You gotta be excited about getting the second best pass rusher in the draft.... from Duke University.

Same, but at this stage I'm not too fussed. They must see something they like.
Louis Riddick mentioned that you don't want Patrick Johnson dropping into coverage, he is strictly a pass rusher so he'll be a pass rush specialist for PHI.

Maybe Rashed's down 2020 played a part but OSU didn't play a full season and offenses keyed in on him. NYJ are getting a motivated kid out to prove he should have been drafted.

If you look at his numbers he was consistently productive. Eight sacks in back to back seasons.

When the Cardinals drafted Golden, he was the less heralded guy...he teamed with Michael Sam and Sam was the more splashy player.

Well years later, Golden's try hard style has kept him in the league while Sam washed out quickly.

I thought Golden play opposite the kid that Denver drafted in round 1 (Ray?). I remember many on here wanted us to draft that kid in round one but he went before our pick.

The total value of Dimukeje’s contract is $3,641,860 with a signing bonus of $161,860.

Dimukeje will make the minimum salary in the league each of the four years on his contract. He will earn $660,000 in 2021 and that increases to $825,000, $940,000 and $1.055 million the following three years. (Those salary numbers will also increase as the minimum increases each year per the new CBA).

His contract will count almost $693,000 against the cap this season if he makes the 53-man roster.
