More than any year this is going to be a "trust the tape" draft. Which I'm pleased by because I think Keim gets his head turned by other things too much.

A quick pre-Senior Bowl top 15 players.
1. QB Lawrence
2. OT Sewell
3. WR Smith
4. OT Slater
5. LB Parsons
6. WR Chase
7. QB Wilson
8. WR Waddle
9. TE Pitts
10. CB Surtain
11. CB Farley
12a. QB Lance
12b. QB Fields
14. EDGE Paye
15. EDGE Ossai
16. LB Owusu-Koramoah
If Fields fell to #16, would you draft him as a more stable alternative to (& depth along side) Kyler Murray?

Fields is very talented and a better passer than what I thought he'd be. He really struggles reading defenses though. He either hits his primary receiver or makes plays through improvisation, which is a lot like Murray. He's a good kid and will probably be a hard worker but no way the Cards should take him at 16. I can see him being there though.

I am willing to let Josh Jones have a shot at RT next year. I would also spend in FA to make sure we get 2 new interior lineman. If those things dont happen, then Leatherwood makes a ton of sense for us as a RT or OG...and #16 isnt a bad spot for that position.

Im O-Line all the way win round 1, unless we do a great job filling those needs in FA. Then WR, TE, OLB, CB, are all in play.

Tony Pauline must be related to Pete Werner of he can't evaluate talent. He has Werner as the #36 prospect. #136 is more likely. Not a great year for OSU prospects. The 2 I liked best, Olave and Haskell Garrett, opted to return to OSU. I like Wyatt Davis too but he really didn't have that great of a year.

Practices are also supposed to be airing on ESPNU.

EDIT - practices air on ESPNU Wenesday and Thursday - both practices.

NFL network is only showing evening recap shows so far.

This is worth a watch. I haven't watched much Etienne but this thread doesn't live up to the hype I've heard.
