Suns and Nuggets go at it again Saturday might after a tough loss by Phoenix in overtime last night where Devin Booker had to leave the game for what appeared to be a leg injury.

The Phoenix Suns fell to Denver in overtime, 130-126, Friday night at Phoenix Suns Arena — and lost their best player.

All-Star Devin Booker left the game with 1:54 left in overtime with a left leg injury as he was grabbing at the hamstring area on the bench.

Monty Williams said the Suns (8-6) will "probably be without" Booker for Saturday's 7 p.m. game against the Nuggets (8-7) in the second of a home back-to-back.

"I know it was a hamstring-type of injury," the Suns coach said about Booker.

Nuggets are now 8-7 on the season while the Suns are 8-6.

The game will be televised on FSAZ.

Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m. Arizona time.

So that's why we got Moore, Galloway, Nader. True they are shooters more than scorers, and Booker is a hard to make up for, but the whole team has to do a bit more. Will be fun in the sense you will see more guys on the floor!

Not that I want to be without Booker, but I thought I saw a stat last night that we have been better with him off the floor this year? Was that accurate? Could just be a weird stat this early in the year.

if Bridges, Paul and Ayton play like they did in the first half I still think we have a good chance to win. Hopefully a couple bench guys step up.

I think I’d start Nader as he’s the only slasher we have. But I suspect we will go small with etwaun or Galloway. With our best (only?) shot creator gone we are going to get smoked tonight.

Suns may not want to make a lot of changes to the starting lineup but they could start Bridges at shooting guard. Then Cam Johnson and Jae Crowder could start at forward. It requires a lot of changes though.
