This team would have 8 wins instead of 6 and on the verge of making the playoffs if it were not for Zane Gonzales chocking on two game winning kicks. That being said, he will result in the Cardinals having a better draft position. I guess we can thank him in April

Who is on the draft list for kicker? Seahawks got Michael Dickson in the 5th round. Surely we can draft someone better than Zane.

The AZ Red Raiders must have another scholarship K Kliff can promote to starter right?

Why they are still staying with Gonzales is ridiculous. Damn. He is a basket case. Show the team that poor performance is not accepted.

Like getting 4 first half first downs as opposed to the 19 that the Rams had? Like waiting until the 2nd half to finally realize that DHop is on the roster and actually try to get him the ball? Like having four consecutive drives with zero first downs in the second half? Like having our longest play to a wide receiver in the entire game be a 12 yard pass? Like having a defense not play complimentary football (as soon as we score to cut it close our D just gives up drive after drive)? Like trying so hard to make Andy Isabella an option that it results in a pick-6? Like having zero offensive or defensive creativity when it comes to calling plays?

Yeah, that's all on Zane.

A different kicker solves all of that.

I agree the offense was putrid but nevertheless Zane has to go.

continually firing the hires the GM makes wont make a difference if you keep letting that GM call the shots.

Cardinals continue to deal with symptoms of the problem and not the problem.

That doesn't mean they shouldn't bring in another kicker though.

It's not all on Zane but if the team is playing close enough in games and your kicker cannot kick, then that is a obvious flaw which no team practice is going to change which is independent of what coaches can fix. They have to make a switch at kicker now and if they do not, I will lose my confidence in this this organization more than even the putrid second round draft selections... no team which wants to win would trot him out there now

You are only addressing yesterday's game. Zane has been bad practically all season and especially in 4 of the last 5 games. He has costs us at least 2 more wins.
