WTH kind of line-up is that?!?
I guess Torey has the excuse of a day game following a night game.

Of course, with Lamb hitting .100 and Jay just a few points higher,
he could have started one on Saturday and the other on Sunday,
instead of back-to-back on Sunday.

Locastro bailed them out with a leadoff HR, followed by a couple
of singles and a sac fly.

Giants get a run back. 2-1 D-backs.

Our fielding, as Steve and BB pointed out, has been sloppy for
some time. Escobar blows a popup, first called an error, then
changed to a hit. And Peralta kicks a ball in LF, first called a
hit, then changed to an error. Is Torey managing the official
scorer? Indecision?

Giants maintain a one-run 3-2 lead in the 6th.

Based upon past performance, even if we led by a
run, that wouldn't be enough to feel comfortable.

López gives up a pinch-hit HR to Belt in the 7th to make it 4-2.

Followed by a double with one out. Then, runners left on 1B & 3B.

The D-backs have tried some bunts on this road trip. Good for them.
Not just for the batter, but forcing the infielders to make adjustments.

Steve just reported that Robbie Ray, in his first start with the Blue Jays,
threw 35 pitches in the 1st inning.

That calls for a :D .

The D-backs left the bases loaded in both and 5th & 6th innings
and lose their 13th out of the past 15 games, most of which
came before the trades to unload a bunch of stars. 4-2 Giants.

7 of the 11 are hitting under .200
3 of the 11 are hitting below .150

10 of the 11 players who batted today are below .750 OPS (league average)
9 of the 11 are below .700
5 of the 11 are below .600
4 of the 11 are below .500

And most of their runs come on solo HR's.

One RBI and no rally. Today's start was an exception.

The leadoff HR, followed by two singles and a sac fly.
