Mercury won, Suns won, your turn Dbacks!
It happened a few days ago. The trifecta of my favorite teams.

The Suns won their third in a row by showing balance today.

The Mercury looked weary for three quarters, but hung in
and took over in the 4th quarter for their third victory in
a row, after losing the first two.

Will the D-backs make it another TV sweep?

With our ace getting tagged in the 1st, we'll see.

I hope Varsho gets a better chance than Cron. As the
second worst scoring team in MLB, Torey has nothing
to lose. Let's see how he does his job this time.

As Bob Brenly just pointed out, the Astros have hit 2 HR's in two innings so far.

The D-backs have hit 2 HR's in ten games. Why? Because all they try to do is
hit HR's.

A bases loaded sac fly and it's 3-0 Astros.

Another game of playing from behind.

Escobar drives in a run in the 4th. 1 out, runners on 1st & 3rd. 3-1 Astros.

And the Freight Train grounds into an inning ending double play.

As the Amish are quoted as saying, "The harder I work, the behinder I get."

It is now Houston 8-1 with 1 out in the top of the 5th and runners on 2nd & 3rd.
Crichton is pitching in relief of MadBum.

Has MadBum really lost it that badly? "Guess so!

It is baseball tradition to expect your pitching ace to be your stopper.

Down 8-1 in the 5th, in this circumstance, is embarrassing!

Torey Lovullo's passive personality (in additional to his goofy use of
his players) has put this team to sleep.

What is there to hope for? Only that it may expedite the departure
of the Manager. Something needs to change. . .for things to change!

Even if he were a scapegoat, which he is not.

Five new players in the field for the D-backs.

And, can you believe this, Jake Lamb is now playing 3B,
a position that he botched.

They now have only one position player on the bench
for the rest of the game in the 6th. That is stupid!

Is that Lovullo's attempt to blame the whole team for
his incompetence?

If he is waving the white flag, good. Wake up, Hazen.
It's time to put him out of his misery.

Torey pulls five of his starters after the fifth.

Throwing in the towel?

Trying to send a message?

He hasn’t been an ace in 4 years. We really overrated this roster.

I feel for Steve and BB, who have to remain serious while announcing this travesty.

The Astros pitcher, Javier, was just brought up from the Minors.

But, as Steve just said, he has been in control of the D-backs all game.

But it is not only that our pitchers have given up 8 runs, but that the
hitters have scored only 1.

The way this team is playing it should have opted out of the season. Hitting and SP (with exception of Kelly) have been equally awful so far this year.
