UFC president Dana White says May 30 event ‘a go’ in Las Vegas

UFC president Dana White told the Las Vegas Review-Journal early Wednesday morning that the promotion's event planned for May 30 is "a go" to happen in Las Vegas.

Following a run of three events over an eight-day span in Jacksonville, Fla., to mark the UFC's return to operations, White said that the promotion's next event would be on May 30. He hoped that he would get approval to host the event at the UFC's own in-house, state-of-the-art broadcast facility in Las Vegas, the Apex, but was prepared to take the show on the road to Arizona if Nevada faltered.

Jon Jones vs. Francis Ngannou fizzles as UFC apparently balks at price tag
Jones sounded particularly bitter in his initial tweets, before seemingly relenting to defending his light heavyweight strap.

"Unbelievable. Before even discussing numbers, the UFC was unwilling to pay more for the Francis superfight, for me to move to heavyweight. Said I could possibly earn more in pay-per-view buys," Jones wrote.

"It’s been fun you guys, maybe I’ll see you all in a year or two."

John Jones, Henry Cejudo and now Jorge Masvidal all saying they aren’t going to fight anymore.

these guys are ridiculously underpaid for what they do.

Dana White is worst than Don King ever was.

Dana White rips media for muddying Conor McGregor situation, riffs on Fight Island (UFC on ESPN 10 scrum)
UFC president Dana White on Friday used a good portion of his UFC on ESPN 10 scrum with reporters to clear the air on some confusion over "the bulls--t" that he has read this week after he made comments about Conor McGregor not wanting to be the back-up fighter for Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson.

"I do one interview where I'm explaining on the radio how this happened and all these idiots start writing stories that I ripped him and that I said he wouldn't take the fight and everything else. It's all bulls--t," said White. "The only thing that was stupider than the f---ing stories that they wrote was the headlines that they put on it."
