Its ILB Evan Weaver from California. Weaver was a first-team Associated Press All-American and first-team All-Pac-12.

Rambunctious tackle sponge and perennial grudge holder who lives to prove people wrong. Weaver certainly doesn't look the part of All-American inside 'backer in the uniform, but he lives for football and plays every snap with urgency. He can be patient but has the instincts and play-recognition skills to beat blockers to the spot. He is slow-twitch, and there is no question that his athletic limitations will be harder to disguise against NFL competition. A lack of traits could limit his upside, but he has the intangibles and toughness to compete as a backup box banger in a 3-4 alignment.

Lindy's has him as a second/third round pick. Compare him to Blake Martinez. Athlon has him as a sixth/seventh round pick. Special teamer or base package player maybe.

He is a better athlete than Scooby.

Scooby is OL slow. Weaver is closer to average.

I think hes better than Joe Walker and it's not a bad thing to add a guy who can be a real good special teamer and backup in round 6.
I guess.

Better pray he doesn’t ever see the field on defense though.

But Evan Weaver can play football, and better than most. I’m convinced that no matter where he is chosen in this weekend’s NFL draft, Weaver will be on the field on Sundays and make plays.

Weaver was a consensus All-American last fall.

He was the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year.

He led the nation in tackles with 182 — 29 more than any other player in FBS.

It wasn’t a case of Weaver merely jumping on the pile every Saturday afternoon — his 102 solo tackles were 20 more than any player in the country.

And he did the same thing in 2018, totaling 159 tackles.

Weaver had three games last season with at least 20 tackles — roughly the equivalent of a basketball player grabbing 20 rebounds in a game — and he averaged more than 14 tackles over the final 17 games of his college career.

Pre-Draft Analysis

Weaver is a strong square-up tackler who tracks the ball well and does an above-average job of sifting through traffic between the tackles. He has slightly below average top-end speed, but he chases with excellent effort. He has the tools and the mentality to develop into a core special teams' player in the NFL. -- Steve Muench

Scooby ran a 4.9, so this guy is faster. Not sure he is fast enough though.

Scooby was completely useless due to his lack of speed.

To put in perspective - Hicks ran a 4.68, and a 4.15 shuttle

He ran a 4.76 and a 4.21 shuttle - so he is not that much slower - but Hicks is on the slower side for the NFL

The difference between Eno and some RBs who’ll be available as UDFAs is minuscule, if there even is a difference. Had Eno played for Cal or another school outside of the state, no one would care. Plus, there are usually unrevealed reasons why guys like Eno drop in the draft
