Were we all expecting Jeudy and Lamb to be the exact same measurements? Honest question, as I hadnt looked much into it before this morning.
No. I think most thought Lamb was taller. That being said, Deandre Hopkins is also 6'1 and Stefon Diggs is 6'0.

Lamb is 6'1 5/8 so he is a 6'2 guy

6'2 198 but plays bigger then his weight

Kind of opposite of DJ Johnson, who plays like a 180lb running back

Lamb speed is underrated, certainly not as fast as jeudy, but I think he can run 445 450

This was the most informative Kliff interview I saw today

This is the first interview/time I’ve heard him talk, that I actually liked him.

This was a great explanation by Mayock about why 1st round WRs fail so much

I knew it was Gruden's fault (-:

The problem right now is if you go defense at 8, you have to go OT in round 2, and consider WR in round 3. Free agency can change this, but OT is rounds 1 or 2 IMO and after that there is a significant drop off unless a player like Ezra Cleveland drops to round 3.
The problem is you're making pre draft decisions of what round to draft what position. This is how you end up with the Hassan Reddick types of the world. Bpa had to be the larger factor than need and what we do in fa prior to the draft matter too.

Something to think about though.

While we are all focused on speed, drops, height etc maybe the most pertinent question is how smart are they? While Kliffs scheme isnt vastly different from college they still have to learn a vast number of plays and each position in that play. We also run a lot of no huddle making it tougher.

Something to consider with the guys we drafted last year and explains why it often takes WRs until year 2 to take off. This includes Kirk who has had to learn two very different offenses.

Not really...it is a plan based upon the different depth at positions, the players likely to be available, and how they both fit with your current roster.

It's how you have to think about OT. There are only so many players in this draft that are better than Justin Murray and Joshua Miles. Those players are likely gone after round 3 and maybe round 2 so if you want to upgrade your OT position, you have to take one early.

Same with C. How many players in this draft are better than Gaillard and Cole who both now have one year in our system? Two? Maybe three?

You also have to consider roster allocation...the offensive line is only going to max get 9 spots (at the most) and most likely 8. What does that look like right now?

1 - Justin Pugh
2 - JR Sweezy
3 - DJ Humphries
4 - Justin Murray
5 - Mason Cole
6 - Lamont Gaillard
7 - Joshua Miles
8 - Brett Toth
9 - ?

Of those fringe guys...you have to draft someone who is better than Miles, Gaillard and Toth who now have one year in the system and working with Kugler. That is going to require getting a guy who you are really excited about and most often, that is a guy taken in the top 100. 3rd or 4th rounds or higher. That puts a cap on the guys who you have on your board and why teams often only rank their top 150 pre-draft.

More weigh-in info worth noting...

Javon Kinlaw DL 6-5 1/8" 324 10 1/2" 34 7/8" 83 3/4" South Carolina
Rashard Lawrence II DL 6-2" 308 11" 34 1/8" 80 3/8" LSU
Derrick Brown DL 6-4 5/8" 326 9" 34 1/4" 80 7/8" Auburn
Leki Fotu DL 6-5 3/8" 330 10 5/8" 34 1/4" 78 7/8" Utah
Justin Madubuike DL 6-2 5/8" 293 9" 33 1/2" 80 1/2" Texas A&M
Ross Blacklock DL 6-3 1/8" 290 9 3/4" 32 3/8" 78 3/4" TCU
Jordan Elliott DL 6-3 7/8" 302 10 1/4" 32 3/8" 79" Missouri
Nick Coe LB 6-4 5/8" 280 10 1/4" 33 3/4" 80 3/4" Auburn

Chase Young DL 6-4 7/8" 264 10" 33 3/4" 80 5/8" Ohio St.
Khalid Kareem DL 6-3 3/4" 268 10 7/8" 34 3/8" 84" Notre Dame
Julian Okwara DL 6-4 1/4" 252 10 1/4" 34 3/8" 81 3/4" Notre Dame
Bradlee Anae DL 6-3 3/8" 257 10 1/8" 32 1/8" 78 1/8" Utah
Darrell Taylor LB 6-3 5/8" 267 9 6/8" 33" 80" Tennessee
Terrell Lewis LB 6-5 2/8" 262 9 7/8" 33 7/8" 83 3/8" Alabama
K'Lavon Chaisson LB 6-3" 254 9 7/8" 32 1/4" 79 1/4" LSU

Azur Kamara LB 6-3 2/8" 245 10" 35 2/8" 82 5/8" Kansas
Kamal Martin LB 6-2 7/8" 240 10 1/8" 34" 81" Minnesota
Cameron Brown LB 6-5 1/4" 233 9 1/2" 34" 78 7/8" Penn St.
Isaiah Simmons LB 6-3 5/8" 238 9 5/8" 33 3/8" 81 7/8" Clemson

Something to keep in mind that arm length for coverage LBs is very important because they rarely have the height and speed to cover TEs. Arm length helps negate that a little and most top end coverage LBs have long arms. Example...Cory Littleton 6'3 33"+ arm length.

All of those measurements are hard to follow without the categories. Formatting is off some.

Our tackle depth sucks. If they don't go with one at 8 then Niang at 40 would be great.

I was well impressed with Chaisson coming in at 253lb. With his speed I expected him to be lighter.

South Carolina DT Javon Kinlaw said he will never take for granted his NFL opportunity after a rough childhood. “I didn’t go to community college for football. I went because I had somewhere to sleep. I had some free food to eat.”

Auburn DT Derrick Brown said he’s met with every NFL team. The projected top-10 pick isn’t guessing how high he will go in the draft. “I don’t think that’s up to me.”

Albert Obwukenam (yeah it's not spelled that way} ran 4.49 at 258lbs with the tight ends.

Not sure why he's had no love this year. He was well thought of last year before he went back.
