That will likely be the theme of our off-season.

We will keep Keim.

Keep Vance.

Re-sign DJ Humphries (fortifying Keim's draft record)

Re-sign Kenyan Drake (reinforcing Keim's successful trade)

Re-sign Larry.

Extend Patrick Peterson.

Shipley, Gunter, Bryd and Cooper.

Be ready for some possible former Cardinals coming back...maybe Golden and maybe Calais.

Here. We. Go.

Pretty much agree. We should soon find out how the powers that be regard Vance Joseph's tenure.

Good post Chop

Sounds like 6-10 to me! But then I’m sure many here will say it’s Kyler’s fault because he didn’t throw for 8,600 yards 65 TDs & run for 2,000 yard lol :mrgreen::lol:

I only 'like' your post because it reflects what is likely to be real, I do not like that reality though.

I dont have any issue keeping the staff intact. We should resign Humphries and Larry. Drake will depend on price. I would welcome back golden and Campbell. I would be ok extending Peterson too.

I'm think center and wr may be places we address with all the cap space.

I think there is some wise fortune telling going on in this thread...The only thing I’ll disagree with is I don’t think Peterson will be extended next season...I believe he’ll be a Cardinal, but I think management will choose to let him play out his contract before making a decision or possibly even franchise tagging him the following season.

And I think CC coming back is more likely than Golden returning.

I do however expect at least one “splash” free agent signing most likely on the defensive side of the ball.

We will need to address the defense in free agency. It would be silly to believe we could add three rookies and expect a vast improvement.

I also think the majority of our off season signings will go to the defense. Fastest way to turn things around. Keim needs 3-4 new starters if not more just on D alone

in terms of personnel I would be cool with that. However, Shipley, Gunter, Bryd and Cooper cannot be starters next year. I think we need to be aggressive in FA and upgrade multiple positions.

If Keim re-signs Shipley, I will puke while crying.

I watched Cole a bit yesterday and he was getting manhandled. Pulled to the left and completely whiffed on his block...his guy made the tackle.

Cole didn't look strong at all...not sure he is the answer at C either.

Still hoping for Galliard at C next year.

My overall guess is that we will bring back pretty much everyone, add dudes in FA, add dudes in the draft, and then figure it out later on. Guys like Byrd, Cooper, Murray, Garcia, Shipley, Joe Walker and Marsh will all likely be on our roster at draft time, but likely will not alter our draft plans. I believe we are going to cut some NFL players in this upcoming training camp which is good news for the quality of our roster.

I think stability is nice. There is a difference between stability and standing pat.

like every year this roster will see many changes.

just reported VJ will return.

When does FA season start?

I expect some bigger splash signings this year, instead of the usual run of third tier guys, a week or two after all the other teams start signing.

It's not like Keim didn't try last year though. Would've been nice to have Alford and Philon out there this year.

Cole's value is versatility as a backup. Keep him on the roster for that purpose.
