Peterson is the girlfriend that keeps dumping you and then want you back. After awhile you had enough and dump her.

The one I'm talking about was a sideline pass in which he looked like the intended receiver because of his play on the ball. It hit him right in the hands and he kinda scissored the air but completely whiffed on catching the ball. No dive.

He saw it late off of his break, and it was low and away. This is nitpicking at its finest.

Sure, he could have caught the ball, but don't act like this is a Maxx Williams, all alone, wide open drop. It wasn't.

Yeah. Its time to move on from PP. Hope he plays well so we get something, but he has been just too inconsistent. I don't think he has many more effective years. Great players often continue to play great as they age, but they are not able to do it as consistently. You see glimpses of the former player, but that is all.

Other Pro Football Focus Tidbits from the game:

  • Wide receiver Damiere Byrd was given a 90.1 grade for his six-catch, 86-yard performance, which was the sixth-best offensive mark in the NFL.
  • Safety Jalen Thompson put together another nice performance, earning a 76.1 grade, including strong marks in coverage.
  • Outside linebacker Haason Reddick graded out as the fifth-most effective defender in his 23 snaps before going down with a groin injury.
  • Four offensive linemen were given strong pass-blocking grades for the Cardinals, who didn’t allow a sack. Guard J.R. Sweezy led the way with an 85.4 pass-blocking grade, followed by guard Justin Pugh (85.0), right tackle Justin Murray (81.7) and left tackle D.J. Humphries (79.9).

Heard that PP2 had to lobby the coaches to let him travel 1-on-1 with OBJ. Does the defensive coaching staff STILL not realize he's not good in zone? Are they that obstinate?

Peterson and Jalen Thompson were both outstanding yesterday. Thompson's sure tackling was noticeable.

Apparently not. They don’t know how to utilize players to get the most out of them which helps the entire team. PP was pumped. If they don’t see it now, they shouldn’t be coaching.
