Suns embark on a four game road trip visiting the Hornets, Magic, Pelicans and Rockets.

Monday the Suns (8-10) visit the Hornets (8-13). Hornets have won two of their last three games but lost to the Bucks 137-96 in Milwaukee.

Seven of the Hornets last nine games have been on the road.

Suns have lost seven of their last ten games including three in a row.

The Suns injury injury report is always a concern lately. At least we may get to see Ty Jerome play.

Kellan Olson‏Verified account @KellanOlson

Ty Jerome is probable for Monday's game in Charlotte.

Cheick Diallo (illness) is out while Cam Johnson (illness) and Mikal Bridges (left quad contusion) are questionable.

Aron Baynes is probable with a left calif strain. That's a new one.

Baynes has been downgraded to questionable and Diallo is out. The outlook is not so bright at the moment.

Aron Baynes (left calf strain) has been downgraded to questionable. Rest of the injury report is the same as yesterday.

I'm trying to figure out a path to victory if Baynes can't go tonight. Diallo is out.

I guess Booker and Oubre would have to have stellar games and the bench need to produce. IMO, the bench could be the key to victory. Of course Rubio would have to be Rubio.

The Hornets are solid in the front court and back court.

Any thoughts?

Injuries, and now everyone has been ill as well? No wonder they have played so lethargically (I want to believe this is the reason).

Would signing Kenneth Faried have been such a terrible idea?

He ultimately signed with a Chinese team.

The Suns only big men tonight are Kaminsky and Saric. I wonder where the Hornets will try to attack.

A 3rd string big and a 2nd string big. Ouch!

I hope Oubre and Cam can find some magic.

Otherwise we'll have to suit up an Assistant
Coach or two. :)

Personally I think the Suns should consider rotating Saric and Kaminsky at center and play Oubre and Bridges at power forward.

This appears to be the latest injury report.

I forgot that Cam is out, too. (Oops, he is available).

Your suggestion probably represents the weakest 4 player
power combo the Suns have ever put on the court.

But what else can they do under the circumstances?

My greatest concern is Baynes deteriorating body.

Perhaps participating in the World Cup is catching up with Baynes.
