Hell of a FA signing by Keim.

For those who say he tackles people beyond the line of scrimmage...he is tied for 1st on tackles for a loss. He is also tied for 1st in INT's and forced fumbles. He is also 3rd in PD. (all based on the top 10 LB's in NFL below).

Budda is playing his butt off as well.

I like what Hicks is doing. He is the only starting inside NFL LB on the team though. And Budda has had his issues this year. Coming on as of late though. Was a beast against the Niners.

Was called one of the best signing bargains in FA by multiple sites when we signed him glad he’s showing up with us as well.

Just need to find better replacement for reddick.

Hicks has played as predicted. no issues there. Budda has not lived up to expectations. he's out of place a couple times per game

Yeah he seems to be coming on as the season is progressing. Getting stronger. Him and BB both... Hicks was an excellent FA signing.

But TCF, our defense was torched again yesterday. 475 yards and 30 points. What is the freaking problem?

Is it all on Reddick and Suggs and poor J. Walker? Or the rookie safety? That we have practice squad players playing meaningful downs at CB? Or Joseph?

We have some guys balling out on D, but that unit is still getting its @ss kicked, hard, and I don't get it.

One thing with the D. When it is crunch time we give the opposing QB all day. And our safeties are just bad in coverage. In addition when you have people named Kerr and McDonald rotating in on the DL you have zero depth. Marsh doesn't do a damn thing either.

In crunch time, our QB was instantly running for his life on every play, while Winston sat back, had some tea, and looked around for a while. It's all about pressure or not.
Anyone's secondary will look bad if the opposing QB can take time and throw darts.

Hicks few gaffes would be less monumental if everyone else on defense wasn't making as many gaffes.

He is ok. Lets be clear, he has missed more than his fair share of tackles and been lost plenty of times. Lets not crown him just yet.

Not a Keim supporter but you have to give him credit on this contract/signing.

CJ Mosley was the big target but hasn't played much this year and is getting paid big time.

Hicks out-performed his contract in year 1 IMO.

I don’t know any sane person who “hates” or even disapproves of Hicks. A bright spot on the team and a fan favorite. Some of us realize that he has racked up tackles because of the putrid defense, but we all like him....I assume

Hicks has been solid. He is not great in coverage but he’s improved. He’s too slow to cover in man but he’s been one of the few solid players in zone, especially as the season has gone on. He was available at a reasonable price because of a questionable injury history. He’s been durable this year and a very good acquisition who’s been well used by Joseph.
