Jevon Carter needs a special nickname. His defense is so intense.

All the Suns shots are short.

I'l guessing Friday and Saturday took a lot out of them, plus Rubio is still hobbled, plus they are having a letdown coming off the emotional high of the Clippers win.

As for Saric, the explanation is simpler. He sucks.

The Suns down by 7 at the end of a low scoring half. As much as I believe
in these Suns, I am pleasantly surprised at the closeness of this game.

It was tied at the 56-second mark.

How many layups have the Suns missed?

They’re all worried about Gobert instead of just going strong to the rim and getting to the line.

that run at the end of the half was all on Rubio. Misses a wide-open 3, turns the ball over on the pick and roll, tries to take it to the hole and wildly misses a reverse layup and the Jazz capitalized on each one.

too bad... they made a nice recovery there. hopefully shots start falling in the second half and they can get back a little of that mojo lost in the final two minutes of the half.

What happened in that last minute? I was hoping collapses like that at the end of halves ended when Kokoskov was shown the door...

Is Rubio fit to play, or is his knee still bothering him to the point he needs to sit?

This is a game that last season we would be down by 20+ at the half. That run in the last minute really hurt, but if we play this hard in the 2nd half we have a shot.

We're only 3 1/2 games into a new Suns team.

It is a learning and adjustment process.

Be patient.

No one expected that we would dominate the
Jazz tonight. But we are hanging in there,
despite the numbers being against us.

Very few assists for both teams. They are
playing schoolyard basketball.

If Ty Jerome were healthy, this is a game where I could see the Suns playing Baynes at center, Booker SF, Oubre PF, Carter, PG and Jerome SG.

The Suns need more offensive punch on the floor.

And Saric finally gets on the scoreboard with a 3 pointer.

I am disappointed that Kevin Ray, who seemed to lessen his bad habits in calling
Game 1, is worse than ever.

He rambles on and on, doesn't call play-by-play and has now added the bad habit of
"Y'know" over and over. And he speaks in half sentences. About ten of them strung
together than this guy with 20 years of experience should do.

We're still considered a small market team, but the Suns could do better in the
play-by-play announcer department.

I'd rather see him going back to sideline comments during the game. He does a
lousy job of setting the pace in the booth.

This is one of the most boring games I've ever seen , can't go 30 seconds without some foul review

Now 4 PFs on Booker and he goes to the bench.

And still we're down by only 6 with
Booker on the bench with 4 fouls.

Even on a night when we stink, we
are still in it.
