The Bullpen has cost the Dbacks playoff spots last two years.

Furthermore, several pitchers saw regression during Butcher’s tenure, especially in 2019. Yoshihisa Hirano’s ERA went from 2.44 in 2018 to 4.75 in 2019. Andrew Chafin’s ERA increased year-over-year by more than half a run. Robbie Ray posted his worst ERA in three seasons.

If the Manager and Pitching Coach had differences, why did they let it go on all season?

The management of this team is too passive. It is clearly the reflection of Torey Lovullo.

As Leo Durocher almost said . . . Nice guys finish at .500 year after year, unless they
are lucky enough to play the Padres for two of the final three series of the season.

I hope that doesn't cover up that the D-backs set a record for most games within
two of .500 during 2019. We need someone who is strong and takes responsibility
for the team. Instead of finding scapegoats. Especially one who was incompetent all
season like Mike Butcher.
