Ray is such an enigma. Dude has stuff but gives up runs. A very pedestrian year for him, he’d be a 4-5 starter on a competent rotation.

Ray is a 6-inning pitcher on a good night, and a 4.34 ERA for your #1 starter isn't going to cut it. Especially when the bullpen has to pitch 3 or 4 innings most of the times he starts.
