Expect the Cards to see Allen, not Cam. Newton officially is out with an injured foot.

Total trap game.

no such thing for a winless team that was the worst team in the league last year. and if it is, there's a MAJOR problem with the coaches and leaders of the team.

they need this W. Losing to a BAD Carolina team without their QB would wipe a lot of the positive vibes we've actually been able to build through the first two non-wins.

Yes it can't be a trap game when you don't have a win. Trap games are when you are a contender and are looking ahead to the next opponent.

After seeing this team and their resilience in the first two games, I do not think we have to worry about them thinking they have the luxury of ignoring any opponent. The character of our QB alone suggest otherwise and he's desperate for a win, along with the overbearing opinion of old school football guys in the league which has to have been bulletin board incentive from day one against their QB and their coach which they seem to be playing for... they I would imagine see this game as a opportunity

It's interesting that we'll face the former Texas A&M QB... that adds a little spice to the match up.

I'm going to put the official kiss of death on the game by saying that Cam the Cardinal Killer being out seals the win for us.

actually watched Kyle Allen throw passes to Mark Andrews (while being covered by Isiah Oliver) at a highschool game

Cards have a way of making backup QBs look competent

Eh. Bring it. I want a team at their best with or without their first string QB.

Exactly. The Cards want to win this just as badly as the Panthers do and they will be desperate to get their first home win as well.

Cam the Cardinal Killer

Not really.

We're 2-3 against Carolina since he's been there. One of our losses was a close one with Lindley at QB and a mediocre game by Cam, one was a good game by Cam (NFC Championship Game), and in the last loss it was Carolina's running game that beat us rather than Cam.
