I haven't seen or heard much about him since preseason started. Can somebody tell me what the general impressions are of him? Thanks.

THey are good! He’s a hard worker and smart. With that said, D-linemen normally take some seasoning to come of age. Calais Campbell didn’t see the field outside of special teams in his rookie year.

If he can play like Kyle Williams did then that would be really great.

The impact on overall DL stability cannot be overstated. When a young rook like Allen is solid, it means at least 1/5 or 1/6 of your starting and backup D-linemen are solid. We need that.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how well he’s played. He hasn’t been pushed around and his agility has enabled him to make plays.
